6. Surrender to a Scoundrel *I particularly like Portrait of a Lover. I found myself forgiving the scoundrel as the prose unfolded. The story didn't really say "He is being wronged!!" but it was a subtle ....what do you think?...kind of insinuation. I am currently devouring: Pembroke Palace 1. In My Wildest Fantasies 2. The Mistress Diaries 3. When a Stranger Loves Me I enjoyed latter part of the first installment, I really liked the second book, and the third is so different a beginning that I am cursing life that I haven't been able to finish it sooner!
